Yep, even as ebook prices take a weekly tumble – or momentary rise – on the rollercoaster of retail sales, American publishers are reporting that the revenues coming in from ebook sales continues to rise.
Digital Book World is reporting that there are double-digit percentage increases in revenues for ebooks, while physical book revenue rose a far more modest 1.3% internationally.

According to the latest data from the Association of American Publishers, revenues for American Publishers selling ebooks internationally rose 63% to $121.5 million. Meanwhile, international print revenue increased 1.3% to $711.8 million.
Internationally, where Amazon, Apple and Kobo dominate ebook sales in many countries, ebooks now account for 14.5% of all publisher revenues. By comparison, according to the latest figures from the AAP, Ebooks made up 20% of total U.S. publisher revenues in 2012.
