One of the great things about California’s Department of Fish and Wildlife and California’s Department of Food and Agriculture is that they offer some great classes, workshops, and information that is really well presented.
Take this latest workshop for instance. The CDFW, CDFA and the State Water Resources Control Board are teaming up to host a free online commercial cannabis cultivate permitting workshop. I like the program because it’s open to those interested in, new to, and existing commercial cannabis cultivators.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Forest Service, and Society for Conservation of Bighorn Sheep (SCBS) are looking for volunteers to assist biologists with a bighorn sheep count in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties at the end of February (February 29 through March 1st). It’s the last weekend of the month, and the event will go on Saturday evening and all day Sunday.
Civil Air Patrol members are conducting damage assessment in support of various federal, state and local agencies as part of the response to a series of earthquakes and aftershocks off the southern coast of Puerto Rico since Dec. 28.
In an unfortunate year of farewells, we have to add another name to websites that are no longer with us.
